How did you find PF?
Google, when searching for questions
Hey,

I have a master in chemistry and PhD in physics, both cum laude. I learned of this forum 10 years ago, looking for an answer for a question I had within the field of plasmonics. The professor could only explain the concept in a mathematical way: here, I found a physical explanation, which was extremely helpful. Later, during my research, I found here a first step towards an answer for an observation we did not understand, which turned out to be polarisation mixing of light reflected by concave mirrors. I'm sure there were other moments I'm forgetting where I used this forum to good use.

For my new work, I need to be able to rapidly understand physical concepts in fields I'm not acquainted with, so I'm sure this forum will of good use in the future.
See you around!
