Simply because there is no past or future to go to. Only the present exists. Or at least that is what I think. If time travel is possible, why do we have no visitors from other times?
This is my view also. And this view follows from the assumption, well supported by observation, that we are part of an evolving universe.Dremmer said:Simply because there is no past or future to go to.
Time travel is the hypothetical concept of moving between different points in time in a manner analogous to moving between different points in space.
Some scientists believe that time travel will never be possible due to the laws of physics, specifically the laws of causality and thermodynamics, which state that an effect cannot occur before its cause and that entropy (the measure of disorder in a system) always increases over time.
Some proposed methods for time travel include traveling at near light speeds, using wormholes, and manipulating the curvature of space-time.
The consequences of time travel are not fully understood, but some theories suggest that altering the past could create paradoxes or alternate timelines. Additionally, time travel could have unintended consequences on the fabric of space and time.
There is currently no empirical evidence of time travel, and all claims of time travel have not been scientifically verified. However, some scientists argue that certain phenomena, such as black holes and quantum entanglement, could potentially provide clues about the possibility of time travel.
