Rejoining the Science Community: A Fresh Start After a Hiatus?

  • Thread starter Michal Fishkin
  • Start date
In summary, returning to the science community after a hiatus requires a fresh start and dedication to re-establishing oneself in the field. This can be achieved through networking and staying updated on current research, as well as actively seeking out opportunities to contribute and collaborate with others. It may also involve addressing any knowledge gaps or skills that may have developed during the hiatus. With determination and persistence, it is possible to successfully reintegrate into the science community and make a meaningful impact.

... but I haven't been around for a while!
I joined this site a couple of years back but I haven't been all that active. Now that I'm in my second semester of first-year engineering at the University of Toronto, I'd say that's going to change. :)
Nice to meet you all!
