I got an alert yesterday for a post by stefanoquattrini. Here's a screenshot showing it, where I've long-pressed it so you can see the URL.

Note that it says "quoted your post". But physicsforums.com/posts/7060332 quotes Sagittarius A-Star, not me. The link in the post's quote header says Sagittarius A-Star, not me, and takes you to a post by Sagittarius A-Star, not me.

It's not a huge thing, but it does suggest something slightly buggy in the alert system. I wonder if @Sagittarius A-Star got a "replied to you" alert for that post (not sure where you are in the world - the timestamp on the pictured alert is 19.30 GMT yesterday, about 11 hours 40 minutes before this post).

The link in my alert is

The time you describe fits to my time 20:30 [UTC+1].

If I remember correctly, he deleted a posting, while I was editing my

But I'm not sure, if it was exactly the posting, from which you got the alert.
