Can We Invent a New Number System to Improve Upon Binary?

In summary, while binary is an efficient number system for computers, it has limitations in terms of representing real numbers and performing complex calculations. Some researchers have proposed alternative number systems, such as ternary or quaternary, to address these issues. However, implementing a new number system would require significant changes to existing technology and may not necessarily improve upon binary in all aspects. Ultimately, the feasibility and benefits of inventing a new number system for improving upon binary remain uncertain.
