Hello. I am new to this discussion forum and look forward to reading and taking part in what is going on here. I trained in Germany and Switzerland and have worked most of my life in the field of art conservation. Although most may think that this is a purely artistic pursuit, there is a great deal of physics and chemistry involved in restoring a painting or other work of art. I look forward to answering questions and to taking part in discussions on various topics.
