What amazed me was the perspective of humans as a whole, seen as a single organism, where a single human is a neuron. Separate neurons don't mean anything, it's the collective neurons that count.

tl;dr: We need to merge with computers to not become obsolete by AI.

You were right about it being a long read. At least it will be some time before we will be having to make the decision whether to 'assimilate into Borg'. :woot:
