Is there a way to use MathJax in the preview window for posts on Physics Forums?

In summary, users are able to use MathJax in the preview window for posts on Physics Forums by enabling the "Use MathJax" option in their account settings. This feature allows for the display of mathematical equations and symbols in the preview window, making it easier for users to format and preview their posts before submitting them.

How did you find PF?
google
Hi,
I'm new to the forum and was reading for some time already. I'm interested in getting more backgrounds about some physics topics apart from the often too short explanations and default examples.

PS: Does MathJax work in the preview window of posts? For me it seems not to.

Hello Axim,

Yes, PF isn't a textbook, but it can help overcome hurdles...

Mathjax should work in preview, but I admit I've seen it forget that from time to time too. A page refresh often helps.
