Homework Statement


I have an extra credit assignment. I can write on any topic involving quantum mechanics (graduate level class). I needs to be a technical paper. I have tried to obtain more details about format from the professor but she does not help much. I have never written a physics papers (I have written other analytical, research, technical papers primarily in genetics and law). I am not sure if I simply repeat what other researchers have done for the technical part or do I provide my own analytical part. I just do not think that I know enough about quantum mechanics to perform a proper analysis. Also I need a topic that is not specifically covered in the graduate level quantum mechanics class but one that is not too advanced that I cannot analysis because of my lack of sufficient knowledge. What is the format of this type of paper. Thanks.
