How Can Retired Engineers Contribute to Physics Discussions?

I studied physics and mathematics in college and worked most of my life building controls for production machinery and writing programs for robots. Two months ago I retired and wish to join a group discussing articles (from Scientific American) and books on physics (such as "Reality is not what it seems", "The outer limits of reason", "Introduction to Bessel functions") KurtLudwig

In some areas, such as production machine controls and robotics, I can offer practical guidance. In other areas, such as understanding concepts of quantum mechanics, I would like to learn from others. KurtLudwig
