In summary, the moderators are currently on top of the situation, but it seems as though the insult quantity has increased in the past couple of weeks.

Is it just me, or has the number of insults being posted shown an uptick in the past couple of weeks?

I haven’t particularly noticed it, but you should report it if you see it.

I must admit I got my snark engaged several times recently. I find I don't do well with supercilious folks.

Is it the insult quantity or quality that we should be concerned with?

Your mother was a hamster and your father smelled of elderberries!

Fair point.

My mother peddles opium, my father's on the dole,
My sister used to walk the streets, but now she's on parole,
One brother plays with little girls, the other raped a steer,
But they won't even talk to me 'cause I'm an Engineer.

Better?

There is no good answer to that question...it is sort of like "so when did you stop beating your wife?"...nice rhyming though... "Engineer"
