Daniel. In summary, the conversation discusses the issue of posting nonsense on a forum and the consequences that may result from it. One user repeatedly posts under different usernames, causing annoyance to other members. The conversation also touches on the topic of reincarnation and the role of moderators in maintaining forum standards.

Why do you think I named that one username out of over 16,000?
I knew you had him pegged, Tom.

 You know how kids are; they always think they've outsmarted the adults when they get handed a little more rope.

He may be having fun playing cat and mouse with the mentors, but will eventually learn that if you play that game long enough, the cat always wins. Let's hope he's seen the light and is ready to reform before being banned again.

Oh, and if I didn't want you to know that I'm that same person, you probably wouldn't have.

That's why we know which accounts, out of the dozen or so people who sign up daily, belong to you and keep banning them... yep... that's the ticket.

Of course I was suspecting that you knew who I am. I mean, one of my former names was James Dean, and this time it was (still is) Live Fast Die Young!

Nope, click here:

That forum ain't accepting new memeber after my posts (which were much much worse than anything I've ever posted on this forum). So I seem to have won that time.

Keep banning my accounts? My only accounts (as far as I remember) are: iodmys, iodmys101, anonymous299792458, orgazmo101, James Dean, and Live Fast Die Young. I believe all of them except the last one were banned on the same day. Also, how could you possibly know which accounts belong to me? It's not like I post from the same ip all the time...
Just admit it, if I REALLY didn't want you to know that I'm that same person, there would be no way that you'd know that.

Well congratulations.

I'm sure your parents must be so proud of you. What was the prize for "winning", if you don't mind me asking?

Being a pest is such a misunderstood profession, but it is so very rewarding in the long run. And you have the gall to yell about how "mean" we are.

You're not the first pest we've dealt with. You won't be the last. It takes us about 2 mouseclicks to ban a user. Compare that with you having to register for a new email account, register a new user, and then post more garbage. Yeah. You're a "winner" alright.

So that's the game you're playing? When you die, will you donate your body to science? I really want to find out what makes someone like you tick. :-p

If it's brought up as a biological topic, I believe you can post it in the biology forum. If it's just adolescent nonsense, it will be deleted..
I bet if I bring it up, even as a biological topic, I'll get deleted in no time.

I think if you remember the posts you've made that have been deleted, you will get a feel for what is acceptable here and what isn't. There are forums on the internet where you can post stuff like that to your heart's content, this isn't one of them.
Ok, so it seems that ASKING about it is not appropriate. On the other hand, posting a reply in which you state that you do it, IS (as other members have demostrated).

Actually, according to the records which anyone of our mentors can access, you don't use too many IPs. In fact, all of the users you listed except orgazmo101 (which is linked to both iodmys and anonymous299792458 on a different IP) shows up using one in particular.

I think you need to practice your kung-fu a little more...

Well, that forum was easy prey. They didn't have any mods, just one admin. Crippling this forum obviously requires much more resources than I possess. If I win the lottery, you'd no longer exist and there'd be a porn site at www.physicsforums.com

Prize? Just personal satisfaction.

That's just not possible. Live Fast Die Young must certainly show up on a different IP.

Nope. Sorry.

Shows up with James Dean, iodmys101, iodmys and anonymous299792458

anonymous299792458, iodmys and orgazmo101 also show up together.

All are also IPs belonging to verizon.net.

Maybe we should just report you to abuse@verizon.net. I'm sure your parents would be THRILLED to find out what you're doing instead of homework.

What makes me tick? Probably boredom and the need for attention. I was expelled from 6th grade for a bomb threat (the school was happy to get rid of me after all the other stuff I've done there). Donate my body to science? Probably not. I try not to think about death anyway. Which reminds me... (PLEASE don't ban me for this, I'm just trying to give you a better idea of who I am). There's been some talk about the cat and mouse game in this thread. Well, when I was about 11 years old, I played that game. And guess what? It wasn't the mouse (me) that wound up dead. Actually, it was sort of an accident. I was "just" torturing it (kicking, punching, stragling), and it died while hanging on one of my computer wires.

My parents? My dad lives in ANOTHER COUNTRY, and I'm almost an adult anyway. No, all IPs can't belong to verizon.net, at least one of them has to belong to someone else (the local university).

Then go out and do something productive. There's no excuse for being bored. And being bored is no excuse for being a disruptive nuisance. Get a job.

Well, just donate your brain. I don't have much use for the rest of your body, but you'd make me quite rich if I could find out what makes you tick differently from the other kids.

Maybe enigma should report you, force your parents to wake up and smell the coffee. Just do us all a favor and don't ever have children. We don't need you abusing them like you abused your cat. My crystal ball shows prison time in your future. Any interest in proving research wrong and cleaning up your act?

I told you, I'm almost an adult (legally). The research is probably wrong, as I don't plan to abuse my children. More cats? Maybe... I mean, seriously, I've got this urge to um... do some horrible thing to a cat. Now, that doesn't mean that I will actually go out and do it, but... I've also been thinking a lot about brutally torturing women whom I know... Again, that doesn't mean that I'm just going to go out there and actually do any of the stuff that I've been thinking about... Did I mention that I've thought about suicide quite a bit?

Well that answers my question, unfortunately i use them, so that's out of the question.

Any chance i can ged mentor powers and exterminate the pest?

*I know i won't, I'm just fantasizing here*

Yes, there are 2. But when we click on "check IP address", all of your IPs show up. Furthermore, the system cross-references your IP with those of all the other members and we see right away who all has the same one.

Now, both your home and school IP addresses are logged with us. You're just leaving your muddy little fingerprints all over the place, aren't you?

he doesn't plan to abuse his children. Most priests and other child abusers didn't either.

Really, please make me a mentor for five minutes so i can exterminate him from the internet permanently. please?

*still just fantasizing*

You're not bright enough to keep your identity a secret, kimosabe. IP addresses aside, there's no hiding such an obnoxious personality.

Wouldn't each computer at the university have a different IP? Also, since my IP, obviously, isn't static, doesn't that mean that I should have a different IP each time. I'm pretty sure that I'm not using the same IP now (4.33.30.198) as I was when I was banned.

Hmm...most universities require a login to use their computers so they know who's using them and when. I'll bet their disciplinary committee would be very interested in finding out what one of their students is doing with their computers. But, hey, a kid expelled from 6th grade isn't likely to be too worried about expulsion from a university, right? And if they don't require a login yet, I think someone should alert them that they need to upgrade their network to include one.

I could easily do that, maybe not in person, but on the internet, sure. I just don't want to.

Yep:
Posts IP Address
11 4.33.30.198 - new verizon IP
3 149.164.62.15 - I guess this would have to be the university IP(I've only used one computer there)
2 4.42.55.61 - probably the old verizon IP

Also, I think I've made more than 16 posts (ones which were not deleted).
