Keep Politics section in the main index

In summary, the purpose of the Politics section in the main index is to provide a designated space for discussing and sharing information related to political topics. It is important to have a separate section for politics to allow for organized and focused discussions and to maintain the overall structure of the website. However, all political discussions should adhere to the website's guidelines and policies and should maintain a civil and respectful tone. Non-scientific political discussions should not be posted in the Politics section and any inappropriate or offensive content can be reported to the website moderators.

suggestion: instead of politics section being under "General Discussion," keep it in the main index. This way, it's more visible. Just my personal opinion. sorry.

I agree. It's not warm and fuzzy but it's no more off topic to physics than Philosophy. Physicists are people, and they have political views. Look at Kaku!
