can anyone suggest ways on how to calculate the moment of inertia using:
1) graphics calculator [TI-89 plus] and/or
2) any computer-based packages
for a cylinder, cone and sphere?

I've got a TI-89, with which I'm trying to solve an inequality. Not a specific one, just in general. I try to use the 'solve' command just as for equations but with an inequal-sign instead, but it doesn't work. Anyone?
I have a class where I'm using the log function a lot, I would like to program a hot key to display log on my ti-89 for I don't have to mess with the catalog, any suggestions?

I'm having some trouble solving inequalities with the TI-89. Let's say that I want to solve x^2<1 The answer should be <-1,1>, if I type in solve(x^2<1,x), but that's not what I get. It only returns the inequality itself just as I typed in. What's wrong??
