A test probe is a physical device used to connect electronic test equipment to a device under test (DUT). Test probes range from very simple, robust devices to complex probes that are sophisticated, expensive, and fragile. Specific types include test prods, oscilloscope probes and current probes. A test probe is often supplied as a test lead, which includes the probe, cable and terminating connector.
Assuming that everything works correctly, is there any question about what the results will be? Would any surprise whatsoever be fundamentally significant - even "Earth'shaking"?
A friend of mine was at Vandenburg for the launch. I just spoke with her by phone and she gave me a guest's-eye view of the proceedings.
She says the briefings and talks earlier were a big part of it.
Almost more than watching the actual launch.
It was too windy in the high atmosphere for...
Gravity probe launching countdown :
For those who haven't heard yet...After almost 40 years ,one of the neatest experiments for testing GR will be finally conducted :

hello,
here is my second message.(and my English is still very bad)
I don't understand these 3 little experiments(we need Helmholtz coils and a Hall Effect probe)
I know I have to draw a graph for each situation but I can't interpret the difference between the theory and the experiment...
In GPB's experimental conditions, a negligible amount of precession takes place.
So in terms of rotational inertia, why does the spin axis of a gyroscopes remain pointing in the same direction?
Also, why would changes in space-time cause the axis to change?
Thanks
Space probe, planet, and sun...
Correcting test again, and I don't know where to start on this problem:
A space prob lies along a line between a planet and the sun so that the sun's gravitational pull on the probe balances the planets pull. The distance of the probe from the planet is 1.0...
4 point probe measurement help!
I will really appreciate if somebody can help me:
I was trying to measure the electrical conductivity of some conductive polymer films using the 4 point probe technique. Altough is widely described and seems easy to arrange, I have been unable to measure my...
Please Help! given a+b=ab=a^b, probe a=b=2
Please help me on this:
Given a+b=ab=a^b
prove a=b=2
it seems like a very simple task but I have lost my sleep for the past
couple of nights over it.

Any one ever use a sound card + software as an oscillscope?
I just want to know how i can make a probe to use as an oscillscope probe that can be plugged into the Input of a sound card.
Thanks
