In summary, a piece of human-created space junk named WT1190F is predicted to crash into Earth on November 13. It will most likely burn up upon entry into the atmosphere, but precautions are being taken to track and monitor its trajectory. Its origin remains unknown and it is not believed to be of alien origin. This event is reminiscent of previous cases such as J002E3.

On November 13 a small chunk of junk, named WT1190f will crash into earth; origin seems to be unknown. No , not aliens. It is human-created space junk.

Does anyone know more about the tracking asemblage they are inplementing from an existing plan - to keep close track on the object, and to test out the system?

Here is a link that doesn't have a bunch of naked women on the bottom of the page. (Not that there is anything wrong with that)

WT1190F travels a highly elliptical orbit, swinging out twice as far as the Earth–Moon distance, Gray says. Gray’s calculations show that it will hit Earth at 6:20 utc, hitting the ocean about 65 kilometers off the southern tip of Sri Lanka. Much, if not all, of it will burn up in the atmosphere, but “I would not necessarily want to be going fishing directly underneath it”, Gray says.

So far no one has mentioned that it will burn up on entry into the atmosphere. I guess I could have said re-entry

1. What is WT1190F?

WT1190F is the name given to a piece of space junk that is expected to enter Earth's atmosphere and potentially impact the surface in November 2015.

2. How big is WT1190F?

The exact size of WT1190F is unknown, but it is estimated to be between 1 and 2 meters in diameter.

3. Where did WT1190F come from?

WT1190F is believed to be a remnant of a previous space mission, possibly a rocket booster or a piece of a satellite. Its exact origin is still uncertain.

4. What are the potential risks of WT1190F impacting Earth?

If WT1190F does indeed impact Earth, it is likely to cause minimal damage due to its small size. However, there is a small chance that it could cause harm if it were to hit a populated area.

5. How will scientists track and monitor WT1190F?

Scientists will use advanced technology, such as radar and telescopes, to track and monitor WT1190F as it enters Earth's atmosphere. This will help them predict its trajectory and assess any potential risks.
