To be honest, this is straight up advertising, but I think it'll be helpful to a lot of people.

My friend has made an Uncertainty calculator app for the iPhone (android coming soon), and it has saved me tons of time. So I just want to support him.

Here are the links and screen shots:

Related to Uncertainty+: uncertainty calculator

1. What is Uncertainty+ and how does it work?

Uncertainty+ is an uncertainty calculator that helps scientists calculate and visualize uncertainties in their data. It works by allowing users to input their data values and associated uncertainties, and then automatically calculates the uncertainty in their final result using the rules of error propagation.

2. Can Uncertainty+ be used for any type of scientific data?

Yes, Uncertainty+ can be used for any type of scientific data that involves measurement and uncertainty. It is particularly useful for experiments in physics, chemistry, and other quantitative sciences.

3. How accurate is Uncertainty+ in calculating uncertainties?

Uncertainty+ uses the standard rules of error propagation, which are widely accepted in the scientific community. It is considered to be a highly accurate tool for calculating uncertainties, but it is always important to carefully evaluate your data and sources of uncertainty to ensure accuracy.

4. Can I save and export my data and uncertainty calculations from Uncertainty+?

Yes, Uncertainty+ allows users to save and export their data and uncertainty calculations in various formats, including CSV and Excel. This makes it easy to share your results with colleagues and incorporate them into reports and presentations.

5. Is Uncertainty+ a free tool?

Yes, Uncertainty+ is completely free to use. It was created by scientists for scientists, with the goal of making uncertainty calculations more accessible and efficient. There are no hidden fees or subscriptions required to use this tool.
