What Would Be a Perfect Slogan for an Electrical Engineering Student's T-shirt?

In summary: But I don't really think that's what this shirt's about. It sounds more like a insult to those of us who actually do this profession. I'm sorry, but I don't think this slogan is good.

We are designing a T-shirt for Electrical Engineering Students.
Please suggest a cool slogan for it.

Electrical Engineering: Why are all the wires red?

Electrical Engineering: Where cutting the red wire is ok. Except when the breaker isn't flipped.

Electrical? Engineering? Nothing could possibly go wrong!

If it ain't broke, fix it anyway.

How do you know the Engineer you're talking to is an extrovert?

When he talks, he stares at your shoes.

I swear someone's sig here on PF is "If it ain't broke, fix it until it is."

That's even better. :smile:

EEs have the power

EEs will rule the world
Resistance is expected

EEs cannot be resisted

Don't worry about the smoke and fire
I'm an Electrical Engineer

EEs make great musicians
and super conductors

I guess this might be good:
"It's called j not i"

I'm an EE
Half of what I do is imaginary

99%?

Personally, I noticed I spend bit too much time with imaginary things and do Re{} only as a last step

Not 99% imaginary, complex.

I saw that coming as soon I finished my response, yes you are right.

Another T-shirt idea

I love that shirt.
If those equations mean what I think they mean.

I am really sorry and also not altogether sure if its polite to mention that none of my friends liked none of the suggestion posted here. They found it too technical or too easy.
And also in our group, everybody is rejecting everybody's suggestion but nobody is coming up with something anybody would like. Kind of funny!

There are 10 types of people in the world: those who understand binary, those who don't, and those who didn't expect this joke to be ternary.

We have the same problem with the National Electrical Code.

As we all know, if you ever want to finish a project you have to kill the engineer.

How about:

This will be a cool shirt but electrical engineers are still working on the slogan.

Resistance is futile.

(slogan inside a resistor diagram similar to this one)

Wait a minute! Did anyone else see the banner ad for Cafe Press?

They've already done the work for you! They have several designs.

It would help if you would decide who the shirt is supposed to speak to. Is it supposed to be aimed at other EE's, at the general public, or other?

Also, you need to decide if it is supposed to poke fun at EE's or be positive.

b.ee vs a.ee

communication
smoke signals --> telephone

information
books --> internet

mobility
Edsel --> Tesla

and your Smartphone?

Yah, we're bigger than the Beatles.

;)

b.ee = before EE's
a.ee = in the years following the birth of our EE's

for those who were not born EE's

Hm. You've listed a bunch of reasons why the world would have been better off without EEs...

We are EE student of our college that also has other Engineering students. We want to boast ourselves superior to them (other E student) .
What I am imagining is something cool, which they read, misinterpret and think its flawed and come to us to mention how bad is the Quote, then we explain what it really means and how dumb they are.
Nothing of such a serious enemy-hood just fun.

Ok... How about an anti-EE slogan?

Kill the EE's

If it weren't for them, Fox News would still be that fat old drunk guy down the street that sits on his front porch and curses incoherent obscenities at you for no reason whatsoever as you walk past his house.

But then again, Loren's idea is a pseudo-googlewhack:

I do not understand it at all, but I like it very much. I think I'll make some T-shirts with that for me and my friends. :smile:

No wonder you didn't like any of the ideas. You neglected to mention the incredible specificity of your goal.
