Hello,

I am currently reading Mark Srednicki's textbook on QFT. Questions posted on this forum indicate that I'm not the only one. ;-)

I'd like to follow Srednicki's advice and discuss what I learn in his book with other humans ! I haven't found someone here at my university.

Is there anybody here who would accept to discuss the topics covered in this book by email ? I could send an email once or twice a week. So far, I have read about 130 pages of the book, but it doesn't matter at all if we are not perfectly synchronized.

Thanks a lot ! ;-)

P.S. : English is not my mother tongue, but as long as we keep using scientific English, it will be fine.

Just ask your questions here. Consulting several people is better than one.

Hello,

I am glad to hear that you are reading Srednicki's textbook on QFT and are interested in discussing it with others. I find it beneficial to have discussions and exchange ideas with others who are also studying the same topics.

While I am not able to commit to a regular email discussion, I would be happy to answer any specific questions you may have about the book or QFT in general. Additionally, there may be online forums or discussion groups dedicated to QFT where you can connect with other readers and engage in discussions.

Regarding your concern about English not being your first language, as long as we stick to scientific terminology and concepts, language should not be a barrier in our discussions. In fact, having a diverse group of individuals with different backgrounds can bring new perspectives and enrich our understanding of the subject.

I wish you all the best in your studies and discussions on QFT. Keep up the curiosity and determination to learn!
