In summary, the conversation revolved around the search for a complete copy of Gabriele Veneziano's paper titled "Construction of a crossing symmetric, regge behaved amplitude for linearly rising trajectories". The CERN document server and KEK preprint server were suggested as possible sources, along with trying different formats and searching for reprint books. However, none of these options were successful in finding a complete copy of the paper. It was noted that the paper may only have 10 pages, rather than the expected 15.

I've been trying to locate a complete copy of Gabriele Veneziano's paper "Construction of a crossing symmetric, regge behaved amplitude for linearly rising trajectories". The CERN document server claims that it has the fulltext, so I downloaded it, yet it only includes 10 of the 15 total pages. Does anyone know of/have a copy of this article?

What about the KEK preprint server? Any luck?

Try also other format in the CERN server, it could be simply a problem of format conversion.

Also, search in "google print" for some reprint book having the article.

Unfortunately, none of these recommendations worked... does anyone have another idea and/or a copy of the article?

Related to Looking for a Veneziano paper

What is a Veneziano paper?

A Veneziano paper refers to a research paper that was published in 1968 by physicist Gabriele Veneziano. It proposed a mathematical model for the strong nuclear force, which is one of the four fundamental forces of nature.

Why is the Veneziano paper important?

The Veneziano paper is important because it laid the foundation for the theory of string theory, which attempts to unify the four fundamental forces of nature. It also opened up new possibilities for studying the behavior of subatomic particles and the structure of the universe.

Where can I find the Veneziano paper?

The Veneziano paper can be found in various scientific journals, such as the Nuclear Physics B journal. It is also available online through databases such as arXiv and JSTOR. Additionally, some universities and research institutions may have physical copies of the paper in their libraries.

How has the Veneziano paper been tested and validated?

The Veneziano paper has been tested and validated through various experiments and observations, such as the discovery of the J/ψ meson in 1974 and the observation of quark-gluon plasma in 2000. It has also been supported by other mathematical models and theories, including superstring theory.

What impact has the Veneziano paper had on modern physics?

The Veneziano paper has had a significant impact on modern physics, particularly in the field of theoretical physics. It has led to further developments in string theory and has influenced other areas of physics, such as quantum gravity and cosmology. It has also sparked new research and advancements in our understanding of the fundamental forces of nature.
