Hey all,

Joined a Material Science program and I have a course on Multivariate Stats. I have pretty minimal background on the topic so I thought I would pop back here asking for recommendations for a good start on the topic.

Here's the course description -
This course introduces students to statistical ideas that are important in learning about materials and their properties. Topics to be covered include: regression, clustering, classification, and inference; Bayes Theorem; Gaussian Processes and neural networks. Exercises and examples will be drawn from chemical, physics, and materials datasets.
