Hello all,
I'm an attorney (and SF fan). At the moment I'm just trying to get an answer to what to the mathematicians here might be a simple question but for me is over my head. However, I am glad I found this site in general as I've been trying to follow the hard science/math in some of my favorite Sci Fi/Fantasy novels (e.g. The Science of Discworld, which has me on wikipedia looking up Schrodinger's Cat or Neutron Stars or what have you every other page) and I suspect at least some folks here would be interested in discussing it even if some of it is only theoretical or partially pie in the sky stuff.
Thanks,
Mark
