How is COMSOL compared to other solver software packages?

In summary, the conversation is about software packages for mathematical problems and solvers, specifically in terms of accuracy. The speaker recommends TK Solver for this purpose, but notes that it is only available for Windows. The other person asks for clarification on what other software packages are being referred to, and for what class of simulation problems. The conversation ends with the reminder to make more specific and effortful questions in the future.

Specifically what other software packages are you asking about? For what class of simulation problems? Please narrow your question some so that you can get reasonable answers. Thanks.

If you are talking about mathematical problems and solvers (including use of an Optimizer), I personally use TK Solver (https://www.uts.com/Products/TKSolver). Only available for Windows, though.
