I need to choose between:

Honours chemistry
Honours physics
Honours biochem (wanting to go into biomed engineering)

I intend on getting a Masters, and potentially Phd.

I'm getting the impression that physics isn't the best program if you want to get a job actually doing physics. I would be extremely dissappointed if I had to go into finance, etc. Also, I'm thinking that chem isn't in demand these days.

Opinions? I am more of a math/problem-solving student... I want a promising and interesting future career path

Thanks so much!

The best option for you depends on your interests and career goals. If you are interested in biomed engineering, Honours Biochem may be the best choice as it will give you a solid foundation in biology and chemistry, which are both important subjects in the field. Honours Physics would also provide a good basis for biomed engineering as it covers topics such as mechanics, electromagnetism, and thermodynamics. However, you may need to take additional courses in biology and chemistry to be successful in biomed engineering. Finally, Honours Chemistry could also be a good option, as it covers topics such as organic chemistry, physical chemistry, and analytical chemistry, all of which are important for biomed engineering. Ultimately, the choice is yours and should be based on your interests and career goals.
