In summary, Fisher's Riddle is a famous logic puzzle involving a fisherman and different types of fish. The rules state that there must be at least one fish of each type, but no more than ten total. To solve the riddle, one must use deductive reasoning and create a chart to track the information given. There are no shortcuts or tricks to solving the riddle, making it a popular challenge for scientists and mathematicians to exercise their critical thinking skills.

This is not a logic puzzle, but just an old riddle I happen to like, called the Fisher's riddle.

The ones we catch we throw away.
The ones we don't catch we keep.

What are they catching and not catching?

Good BicycleTree. I like the answer, fleas, a little better because it's a little hard to imagine a mistake that a fisher could make and then throw away.
