This question was answered in a heartbeat by others but I'll still post the solution anyway. Will try to get more difficult questions in the future that are less likely to be answered.

1) $$\displaystyle \frac{1}{4}-12 = \frac{1}{4} - \frac{48}{4}= \frac{-47}{4}$$

2) $$\displaystyle -18+(-12)=-18-12=-30$$

3) $$\displaystyle x + 29$$ given $x=-15$. $$\displaystyle -15+29=29-15=14$$

4) $$\displaystyle \frac{-3}{4}- \frac{-1}{4}= \frac{-3}{4}+\frac{1}{4}=\frac{-2}{4}= - \frac{1}{2}$$
