In summary, to create a mind-bending object, cut a 3-by-5 file card and crease it on the dotted line. Hold section C with your right hand and swing section A 90 degrees towards you. Then hold section C with your left hand and swing section B 90 degrees away from you. The end result will be a seemingly impossible object.

Here's something to drive your friends crazy.

Take a 3-by-5 file card and cut it on the solid lines.
Crease it on the dotted line.
Code:
      *---*-------*---*
      | | | |
      | | | |
      | | C | |
      | | | |
      | | | |
      | | | |
      * - * - * - * - *
      | | |
      | | |
      | A | B |
      | | |
      | | |
      | | |
      *-------*-------*
Hold section C with your right hand; let the sheet hang vertically.
Hold section A with your left hand and swing it 90o toward you.
Now hold section C with your left hand.
Hold section B with your right hand and swing it 90o away from you.

You will have an object that looks like this:
Code:
                      *---* *-------*
                     / / / /
                  *-------* / /
                  | |/ /
                  | | /
                 /| | /
                / | | /
               / | | /
              / * - * - * /
             / / / /
            / / / /
           / / / /
          / / / /
         / / / /
        *-------* *---*
After you've marveled at how impossible it looks,
. . give it to your best friend.
