Collatz conjecture brought me here

In summary, the Collatz conjecture is a mathematical problem that involves repeatedly dividing a number by two if it is even, or multiplying it by three and adding one if it is odd. It is said that no matter what number you start with, this process will eventually lead to the number one. This intriguing concept has brought many mathematicians and enthusiasts to explore and try to prove the conjecture, making it a popular topic in the field of mathematics.

How did you find PF?
Hello, Eric here. Found this site because I was looking for discussion on the Collatz Conjecture and this popped up so I decided to sign up!
These are the two tables I developed trying to untangle how the Collatz Conjecture operates, and this certainly helps clear the water a bit

Welcome to PF.

As I mentioned in my PM to you, after your work has been published in a mainstream peer-reviewed journal (see the PF Rules for a list), you can start a thread to discuss that work.
