Can Ocean Waves on the Baja Peninsula Be Used to Generate Clean Electricity?

Hi. I assume at this point I'm
supposed to introduce myself
and pertinent interests.
If so, then I'll be brief.
I live on the Northwest coast of the Baja Peninsula in Mexico.
My place faces the ocean.
Every day good size waves pummel the beach. The exception is during our extreme low tides. While hearing, seeing &
feeling their impact, it occurs to me, they are a wasted source of
kinetic energy that could best be
employed to generate pollutant free electricity.
I have some fairly certain ideas
on how to do it but they need
refinement.
My queries will address this issue.
This would be shorter if I took more time. Thanks Lance
