Withaferin A, a compound present in the Ashwagandha herb, was shown to reduce tumor size in different cancers on mice, as well as preventing metastasis. Research of this compound has gained momentum in recent years, and there are now dozens of studies on its anti-cancer properties. It seems to be effective in a wide range of cancers, acting through various processes such as inducing cancer cells apoptosis and preventing cancer cell division, while leaving healthy cells unharmed.
Just thought it was interesting, and hoping to see more studies on this in the future. Perhaps a more concentrated dose or a derived pharmaceutical could possibly prove to be a very effective treatment against cancer.
