The Simulation Interpretation of Quantum Mechanics

The Schrödinger Equation gives a superposition of states in which a 'particle' travels as a wave or particle. This is inconsistent with classic logic - how can it be both? In Simulation Hypothesis particle or photon travel resembles a render-on-demand type of scenario used in video production...

Is Zeno's Paradox Relevant in Understanding Digital and Real-World Motion?

Both time *and* space must be digital. As regards 'in the limit' the area under a curve is a numerical issue. Area is the sum of small squares under a curve. Also note that Pi is infinite precision - its has to be because the area of a circle cannot be comprised of an infinite number of squares...

What Are the Current Insights on Various Fusion Technologies Like Sonofusion?

I thought space would offer the advantage of zero gravity and many smaller lasers could be used in space. The present experiment at Jet uses quite an old design of laser. I am only guessing but nuclear fusion energy sources are so important I thought it worth a punt. Any offers, suggestions? I...

What Are the Current Insights on Various Fusion Technologies Like Sonofusion?

What about using thousands of lasers in space orbit *all* directed on a tiny fusion target (pellet)? Surely laser focusing and power outputs and pulse widths are good enough nowadays to achieve fusion temperatures in a small space?

Is Zeno's Paradox Relevant in Understanding Digital and Real-World Motion?

Here is an ultra short repeat of the Zeno Paradox, but please google it for a longer version with pictures etc: Think of a moving arrow. In an instant of time an arrow cannot move (bc its an *instant*). An arrow's movement is given by the sum of the movements at every instant. But since in...

    Isn't a Cosmos Made from Nothing Self-Consistent?

Godel's theorem is very beautiful but a Universe only needs enough mathematical rules to make it work. It does not need to 'know' all axioms. It only needs to *use* a limited quite simple set of axioms. A computer program works in this way. We do not need to understand all mathematics to...

    Isn't a Cosmos Made from Nothing Self-Consistent?

Yes approximate. But that is ok, we just set the precision to almost what we want.

    Isn't a Cosmos Made from Nothing Self-Consistent?

Suggest changing Hilbert space / operator style of analysis with numerical solutions. Computers could then do the donkey work on possible scenarios and tested against experiment. QFT would be better done that way.

    Isn't a Cosmos Made from Nothing Self-Consistent?

Regarding the English language. What is it? Is it an object of the universe? The English language has zero mass and zero spatial size. It is 0 inches big and has a mass of 0 grammes. Same for beauty, knowledge, and thinking. They are non spatial entities that rely on interpretation of states...

    Quantum fluctuations in a vacuum

Some physicists are giving up on physical particles and talking about quantum fluctuations in a vacuum. So, what exactly is a quantum fluctuation in a vacuum?

Survival of de Broglie-Bohm Theory in Latest Challenge - physicsworld.com

I hope its the start of new ideas and directions. I feel sure there are rational explanations just near to us, especially regarding entanglement.

It was an extra experiment worth doing I suppose because it adds to Bells experiments and builds an effective case from which to argue... :)

A Bohm-type Theory may be necessary?

Its the clock at the observation co-ordinate that has changed compared to the clock at the spawn point.

A Bohm-type Theory may be necessary?

Red shift CMB and gravitational bending etc are relativistic corrections rather than operating on the wavefunction itself.

Yes, and John Cramer is working at present on retrocausality.
