How do I solve 2 simultaneous equations using KVL?

no not what I mean, on the B side, i have all the other sign matching up except the 20v so multiply by -1 won't make it correct, but that's not my question I just want to know how they got their currents for each of the meshes

How do I solve 2 simultaneous equations using KVL?

at first, no and the only thing that didnt match up was that i got my 20v to be the opposite sign of what they had

How do I solve 2 simultaneous equations using KVL?

What do you mean? That is a pratice example so I'm assuming their answers and equations are correct and if mine doesn't match up then I'm doing something wrong

How do I solve 2 simultaneous equations using KVL?

« thread moved from technical forum; so template is absent » So I'm trying to get a better understanding of KVL by looking up practice problem and I'm having some difficulties. I'm attempting to do this problem my first step is to get an equation for Ia (32v-10ia+8ib = 0) an Ib (12ib+20v-8ia =...

Calculating Surface Tension Force in a Hemispherical Water Bulge

I tried to go back and read on "fluids" chapter in my boo (Principle of physics by eric mazur) to try to understand what you mean, but I don't get it

Calculating Surface Tension Force in a Hemispherical Water Bulge

I have a 8mm diameter glass tube willed with water that have a bulge outward above the top. I know that the preasure inside the bulge is higher than the outside (not postive as to why, probably due to it being in a liquid compare to the atmophere) the question is: 1. how do I calculate the...

Exploring Negative Mass: What Would Happen?

oh, so it would be pushed up since gravity accel is negative, right? 2. I just think about it, since all the variable in the equation is positive, and the negative mass is the only negative, so the force would end up being negative, right?

Exploring Negative Mass: What Would Happen?

I'm in Physics 1 and this is an extra credit I need 1. Homework Statement From time to time, it is amusing to consider extending physics to unusual circumstances or values of parameters. Consider an object with a negative mass. How would it behave? How would we be able to detect it if it...

Is rotational Work the same as linear Work?

Thanks. Now is it possible to find angular momentum from just work and force? no radius, speed, nor mass are given. If so, how?

Is rotational Work the same as linear Work?

If I have Work1=F*D, can I use that answer to be equal to W2(=1/2Iω2)?

Is rotational Work the same as linear Work?

Linear work is F*D and rotation is 1/2Iω2, but if a problem as me rotational energy (Rotation worl = KE?) of a wheel and I have the linear work, can I just set Wrotation=Wlinear?

What is the torque on the right side of the stick when the center is at 50cm?

where gravity is acting on the whole stick? anywhere that isn't the pivot point? I'm not sure why section of it wouldn't be affect by gravity
