I need your help!
Using XRD, I detected single crystals (single peak) on the surface of a bulk specimen. My guess is that the structure is most probably Zr2Cu, but a distorted one.
I know that Zr2Cu structure is MoSi2 type, spacing group of I4/mmm, tetragonal.
I want to ask
1)...
Do you mean something like fractography? Examine the surfaces of the materials and trying to find out special characteristics etc?

Hm, i`m quite familiar with the equation you gave but the hint is `intensity`.
I think in order to say that "this 2theta from experiment is comparable with this 2theta from JCPDS` it must have something to do with the `intensity`.
If I get to prove...
