At the risk of contradicting our Lord and Master, it also applies to those who have asked to be deleted from the site - slightly different from banning.Greg Bernhardt said:correct. both temp and perm
Usually bannings for first-time infractions are temporary. I don't think it's often that members are permanently banned without previous warnings or temporary bans - unless it's obvious they're just here to troll.magnusrobot12 said:being banned sucks. is there an appeals' process or once you get banned, its all over.

When a username has a strikethrough, it means that the user has been banned from the platform or website.
A user can get a strikethrough on their username by violating the terms of service or community guidelines of the platform or website. This can include behaviors such as harassment, spamming, or posting inappropriate content.
In most cases, a strikethrough on a username is permanent. However, some platforms or websites may have a system in place for users to appeal a ban and have the strikethrough removed if their violation was a one-time offense.
In most cases, a user with a strikethrough on their username will not be able to access the platform or website. However, they may still be able to view content as a guest or through another account.
It is generally advised to avoid interacting with a user who has a strikethrough on their username, as they have been banned for a reason. If a user continues to interact with a banned user, they may also face consequences such as a warning or ban themselves.
