There are only so many commercially successful cross linked polymers, you can look them up. As far as determining whether some new cross linking agent will cross link a particular resin, you just have to know some chemistry. All you need is functionality in the middle of the polymer chain, and a small di-functional molecule to react with the functionality of the polymer chains.
