In summary, it is possible for a professional pilot to successfully pursue an engineering hobby. While it may require dedication and time management, many pilots have found ways to balance their career and passion for engineering through various avenues such as online courses, part-time work, or joining aviation organizations dedicated to engineering projects. While there may be challenges, with determination and a strong passion for both fields, a professional pilot can certainly find success in pursuing an engineering hobby.

How did you find PF?
Google search for engineering forum.
Hi all,

I'm a professional pilot by trade, but I recently discovered developer boards, and I've gotten into hardware coding as a new hobby. However, this necessarily brings along some engineering problems, and I haven't had any math or physics classes in close to 2 decades, so I'm looking for a resource to help solve some hopefully simple problems from time to time. Hopefully this is the place!
