TL;DR Summary
The permittivity (epsilon) of glass+ water cause the angle change of a beam entering. How much is this change in angle under extreme temperature change, is it visible to the naked eye ?
Thanks!

You mean, does the refractive index of materials change with temperature?

ε depends on the electron density, which depends on the lens density, which depends on the differential thermal expansion of the lens and the tube it is in.
