Why is the product of n0 and po always a constant for a given semiconductor?
I mean i can agree for an intrinsic semiconductor that n0=po therefore n0*p0=ni^2.
Also for an extrinsic semiconductor the carrier concentration "ni" is a function of temperature agreed! But for that concentration what do we take into account? electrons or holes or both?
