When welder are working on pipelines, they use filters that block out UV light. Why is this precaution necessary?


Does the question mean that they wear some type of glasses to help protect their eyes? or does the filter block UV light from going into the pipeline?



This is what I did:
The UV light is able to cause eye damage and is harmful to humans UV light is able to cause cancer.
