In summary, the conversation discussed the topic of feeling arrogant and its biological basis. The neurotransmitter dopamine plays a role in this, as too little or too much of it can affect one's motivation and perception of the world. When there is an excessive release of dopamine, it can lead to feelings of superiority and even paranoia. This over-stimulation can also result in a loss of pleasure, known as anhedonia. Overall, the level of mental energy and balance of dopamine production can greatly impact one's attitude and behavior.

I saw you asked for this post to be deleted - but just in case you see this...
There is a neurotransmitter in the brain called dopamine, and when you don't produce enough, you feel unmotivated, couldn't care less, and generally blah about the world.
When you produce more than usual, you feel motivated, focused, intensely interested; energized and curious about what you are involved in at that particular time.
If you produce too much, via artificial means or mental disturbance, you can feel arrogant and superior. If this occurs too frequently, you can also start to get progressively more paranoid.
That could be considered the limit, because if too much is released into your system too often, the receptors for it in your brain shut off, and you lose the ability to feel pleasure in anything, which is called "anhedonia", and a known effect of over-stimulation of this neurotransmitter. It is more complex than that, but in a nutshell, that explains (I hope?) much of what you were asking.

There are a few different reasons why we may experience arrogance, curiosity, and enthusiasm. First, let's define these terms a bit more. Arrogance can stem from a sense of superiority or an inflated ego, while curiosity is the desire to learn or explore new things. Enthusiasm is often described as a feeling of excitement or passion towards something.

Now, onto why we may experience these emotions. Arrogance can arise from a variety of factors such as past successes, societal norms, or even a defense mechanism to cover up insecurities. It can also be a result of our innate desire to feel important and stand out from others.

Curiosity, on the other hand, is a natural human trait that is essential for our survival and growth. Our brains are wired to seek out new information and experiences, and this can manifest as curiosity. It can also be driven by a desire for understanding or a need to satisfy our innate sense of wonder.

Enthusiasm is closely tied to our level of mental energy or motivation. When we are passionate about something, we tend to put in more effort and energy, which can lead to feelings of enthusiasm. It can also be sparked by a sense of purpose or fulfillment, and can often be contagious, inspiring others to join in.

So, to answer the question of why we experience these emotions, it ultimately comes down to our biology and psychology. Our brains are complex and constantly seeking stimulation, which can manifest as arrogance, curiosity, or enthusiasm depending on the situation and our individual traits. It's important to recognize and understand these emotions, as they can have both positive and negative impacts on our lives.
