I know in the US, some companies offer internships for students. I'm not sure that they would consider Freshmen as they are looking for potential talent to hire upon graduation hence they prefer juniors and sophomores.

So @Vijayent what did you mean that you are a "fresher"? fresh out of college or a freshman (1st year student) in college?
Mechanical engineering freshers can find job opportunities in a variety of industries such as automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, construction, energy, and consulting companies. Many technology companies also hire mechanical engineers for their product design and development teams.
Some common job roles for mechanical engineering freshers include design engineer, production engineer, quality engineer, project engineer, and research and development engineer. These roles involve designing, building, and maintaining mechanical systems and components, as well as analyzing data and finding solutions to problems.
While having a master's degree in mechanical engineering can certainly open up more job opportunities and potentially lead to higher salaries, it is not always necessary for entry-level positions. Many companies are willing to hire freshers with a bachelor's degree and provide on-the-job training and development opportunities.
Mechanical engineering freshers should have a strong foundation in math, physics, and computer-aided design (CAD). They should also possess problem-solving abilities, critical thinking skills, and the ability to work in a team. Knowledge of programming languages and experience with project management software can also be beneficial.
To increase your chances of getting a job as a mechanical engineering fresher, you can gain hands-on experience through internships or co-op programs, participate in extracurricular activities related to engineering, and maintain a strong GPA. Networking and attending job fairs can also help in connecting with potential employers and learning about job opportunities.
