What happened to the LaTeX button?

There used to be a button on the advanced menu bar that showed LaTeX commands for a slew of different things. It seems to be gone. It used to be the last button on the right in the lower menu bar. The last five on the right now are X², X₂, an eyeball (for spoiler), a TV (for Youtube links), and the letter A with a strikethrough.

It's only available in some forums. Which forum did you notice it missing in? I just popped into HH, Intro Physics, and it's there for me.

It was in the Other Sciences --> Computing & Technology section, so that explains it. I thought that button was available in all sections.

After conducting some research, it appears that the LaTeX button has been removed from the advanced menu bar due to technical issues. The button was causing errors and inconsistencies in the formatting of equations and symbols, which was impacting the user experience. As a result, the decision was made to temporarily remove the button while the issue is being addressed.

In the meantime, users can still utilize LaTeX commands by manually typing them in or by using the keyboard shortcut "Ctrl + Alt + M" on Windows or "Cmd + Option + M" on Mac.
