Homework Statement


In the notes , it's stated in the first part for non-uniform flow that the gradient of $$S_0$$ , $$S_w$$ and $$i$$ are not the same
, But , in the lower part , it's stated in the first part for non-uniform flow that the gradient of $$S_0$$ , $$S_w$$ and $$i$$ are the same

So , i think the second part is wrong . IMO , for non-uniform flow that the gradient of $$S_0$$ , $$S_w$$ and $$i$$ should not be the same [/B]

It's clearly a typo. Should be ≠ somewhere, presumably at the second =.
