Looking at the fragment, and then at the picture of the launch vehicle for the Ekspres, it seems possible that the fragment is one of the end covers for a payload.

I didn't see any white van, it must be camouflaged against the UFO dandruff.

You can't be serious. You actually want someone to waste time on doing anything other than making fun of such nonsense?

It's obviously part of a neuron-hydrogen antimatter hydrodynamic propulsion unit.

Well, that's your view. If you feel it's a waste of time, you are welcome to ignore this thread. I tried to get more details on this incident and couldn't find any explanation for the origin of the object in question. Hence I came here trying to find any possible explanation. I'm not trying to waste anyone's time.

That aside, turns out the object is made mostly of titanium.

Did anybody actually see this thing fall? According to reports, it was found in the woods and dragged to the village on a trailer.

I wonder if they know its Titanium because its "ultra strong" or an expert actually confirmed it. Titanium parts in the aerospace industry is no huge feat. That would really only confirm that it was most likely from a plane or rocket. There is probably someone out there who know exactly what it is and they are laughing their butt off right now at all the speculation.

It would amuse me if it did turn out to be the top of a grain silo. (Most likely made of some other "ultra strong" material such as steel.)

Found http://rt.com/s/swf/player5.4.swf?file=http://rt.com/files/news/space-mystery-object-siberia-127/if74e575a24ad95ca64545880280bca6f_oblomok.flv&image=http://rt.com/files/news/space-mystery-object-siberia-127/wwwaspekt-pressru-image.n.jpg&skin=http://rt.com/s/css/player_skin.zip&provider=http&abouttext=Russia%20Today&aboutlink=http://rt.com&autostart=false video from the Mirror news article. Not sure if it refers to the object falling.

Looks like an air conditioner uprooted by a storm.

Thats prety interesting that much titanium couldn't have come cheap. The next step if they have any curiosity as to investigate it would be to analyze a sample of the material to see if it is homogonous and is actually titanium and or if it is some unusual alloy they can't identify. They don't quote how they could know that it is titanium so it's sucpicious. Then who is claiming it fell out of the sky the whole town, one drunk hippie? They don't say. You would think they could get some more pictures of it from inside and out. Who analyzed it could be helpfull also to determine if the person was qualified to do so. In my opinion its intersting but lacking in details. Which is convenient for a lot of the news companies when all they want is a good story.

Lol, I have to say I'm on the side of the skeptics...

Well let's not assume its not a legitimate story. I mean all the events described could have verry well happened. I just lament that there was not more in depth coverage. Hopefully if this is legitimate the author will cover this story more fully as it would be an interesting mystery to solve. Maybe the question to ask is who is the original writer and how can we contact them with questions that may help them investigate.

To a degree, this is interesting. Merely because it's clearly a man made object, and that renders the question of, who's object is it? but not really a good argument for potential alien evidence! Okay, so it's compossition is titanium, so what? all the suggests is it probably belongs to a government agency of some sort, in which could afford such an expensive piece of junk!

Why do we assume that if there was or is, other civilizations out there in the cosmos, that they would share similar or even mildly comparable styles of technology to us? (in which that object looks man made)... Especially if we are to suggest that they have traveled across star systems or potentially could be inter-dimentional beings! If they could achieve this feat of engineering, then obviously they are far beyond anything we can even imagine, considering we can't even reach our closest star with our current technology.

Related to Is the Mysterious Metal Fragment in Siberia Alien or Man-Made?

1. What is a UFO fragment and how did it end up falling in Siberia?

A UFO fragment refers to a piece or debris of an unidentified flying object. It is believed that these fragments originate from extraterrestrial spacecrafts. The cause of a UFO fragment falling in Siberia could be due to a malfunction or crash of the spacecraft, or it could have been a deliberate landing by the extraterrestrial beings.

2. How big is the UFO fragment that fell in Siberia?

The size of the UFO fragment can vary greatly depending on the type of spacecraft and the material it is made of. Some fragments can be as small as a few inches while others can be as large as several feet or even larger. The size of the fragment that fell in Siberia would depend on the specific incident and the type of UFO involved.

3. Is it possible for a UFO fragment to contain alien technology or evidence of extraterrestrial life?

It is certainly possible for a UFO fragment to contain advanced technology that is not of this world. However, it is not guaranteed that every UFO fragment would contain such evidence. It would ultimately depend on the specific incident and the type of UFO involved. Scientists would need to carefully analyze and study the fragment to determine any potential evidence of extraterrestrial life.

4. What precautions should be taken when handling a UFO fragment?

Due to the unknown nature of UFO fragments, it is important to take precautions when handling them. The fragment should be handled with protective gear, such as gloves and a mask, to avoid any potential contamination. It is also important to document and preserve the fragment to ensure its authenticity and integrity for further study.

5. Are there any ongoing investigations or research being conducted on the UFO fragment that fell in Siberia?

At any given time, there are likely multiple investigations and research projects being conducted on various UFO fragments across the world. However, specific information on ongoing investigations is not always publicly available. It is important for scientists to continue studying and researching these fragments to gain a better understanding of their origins and potential implications.
