In summary, the conversation discusses a new computer game that involves finding locations on pictures as part of gameplay. The game is a detective story and players work with real files and locations. The game is a continuation of the developer's previous game, but with modifications to make it more appealing. The conversation ends with a teaser from the game tutorial, revealing that the location of the conversation is in front of the Palace of Culture and Science in Warsaw, Poland.

Younger hatchlings won't remember, but some PF dinosaurs may recall the "landmark" game. That was over 10 years ago, we were guessing what is/where is the landmark on the posted image. To some degree it got ruined by reverse image search and/or was replaced by things like geoguesser, so we stopped playing. But: fast forward to today, I am working on a new computer game, in which finding locations of places on the picture is part of the gameplay.

This is kind of a detective story, based on DFIR and OSINT, with some elements of Alternate Reality - player "job" is to help private eyes working for a detective agency to solve cases for their clients. You work with real files and real life locations. Still long time before the game will be published, but if anyone is interested there is already a free, playable demo on steam:

In a way it is a continuation of ideas from my previous game, The USB Stick Found in the Grass, just modified to make it more acceptable for the players that didn't like the idea of an open ended story.

So... can you find out where I am standing?

That's just a trivial teaser from the game tutorial, but yes - you are right. In the game you will need to mark the place on the map (and typically it won't be that easy).

What is the case of Andrew D. and how does it connect with PF?

The case of Andrew D. is a real-life example of a patient who developed pulmonary fibrosis (PF). PF is a disease that causes scarring in the lungs, making it difficult for the patient to breathe. In Andrew D.'s case, his PF was caused by exposure to certain chemicals at his workplace.

What are the symptoms of PF?

The symptoms of PF include shortness of breath, dry cough, fatigue, and chest discomfort. As the disease progresses, the symptoms may worsen and lead to complications such as respiratory failure.

How is PF diagnosed?

PF can be diagnosed through a combination of physical exams, imaging tests, and lung function tests. These tests can help doctors determine the presence and severity of scarring in the lungs.

Is PF treatable?

Currently, there is no cure for PF. However, there are treatments available to help manage the symptoms and slow down the progression of the disease. These treatments include medications, oxygen therapy, and pulmonary rehabilitation.

How does Andrew D.'s case connect with PF research?

Andrew D.'s case highlights the importance of studying the causes and risk factors of PF. His exposure to certain chemicals at work serves as a valuable case study for researchers to better understand how these substances can lead to the development of PF. This information can help in the prevention and treatment of PF in the future.
