In summary, the conversation revolves around the idea of interpreting dreams and sharing personal experiences. One person suggests a forum where individuals can post their dreams for others to analyze and interpret. The other person shares a dream about flying and robbing a house, but acknowledges that it is difficult to interpret without more context. The conversation shifts to a personal experience where the dreamer's love for physics is represented through a dying boy in a dream. They discuss the potential meaning behind the dream and its connection to their real-life situation. The conversation ends with the acknowledgment that more information is needed to fully interpret the dream.

I am torn wheather to post in the philsophy and other science but this seems the best.

Ok here is what I would like to do, someone post a dream that they have had and then someone else analizes it and trys to define it's meaning or if they don't rember their dreams then they leave the floor open to another person to post a dream.

OK i will go first: a lirrlte while back I had this weird dream where me and these other randomly genrated peple could like jumb or fly or something and we where gogin around the neighbor hood at aroun 12:00 and looking at houses and seeign which had like an open window or no lights on or something aloing those lines, and we found this one and we where going to rob it then some one pulled out of the houses drive way in a pickup but dident see us and that's all I rember.

it's almost impossible to interpret a dream without knowledge of a person's personality, history, what they ate for dinner, that sort of thing.

in my last year of high school i started doing very badly in physics (god forbid), one particular day i went to have coffee with my friends and tried to explain to them how awful it made me feel, not just that i wasn't doing well but my love of physics was dying, they didn't understand/care. that night i dreamed of a boy who i was madly in love with but was dying, i tried to get my friends to help, or at least get some sympathy but they didn't understand/care. the next day a good friend pointed out the similarity between my dream and our conversation that day. she theorized that the boy represented physics to me, which was very weird but made sense in the way dreams do. i felt very priviledged to know what kissing phyiscs, well a personification of it, felt like!

i'd like to be able to interpret your dream, unfortunately i just don't know enough about what surrounds this dream, do you remember anything in particular that happened leading up to this dream, emotionally charged events, big changes?

This thread should be in the 'Mystics...' forum.

1. What is the purpose of analyzing dreams?

The purpose of analyzing dreams is to gain insight into our subconscious mind and understand our inner thoughts, feelings, and desires. Dreams can also provide guidance and help us process unresolved issues or emotions.

2. How can I remember my dreams better?

Keeping a dream journal and writing down your dreams as soon as you wake up can help you remember them better. Also, setting an intention before going to sleep to remember your dreams and avoiding alcohol and caffeine before bedtime can improve dream recall.

3. Can dreams predict the future?

There is no scientific evidence that dreams can predict the future. Dreams are a product of our subconscious mind and can be influenced by our current thoughts, feelings, and experiences. However, some people believe that dreams may offer insights or warnings about potential future events.

4. Are there universal symbols in dreams?

While some symbols may have common meanings across cultures and individuals, the interpretation of symbols in dreams is highly personal and can vary based on the dreamer's experiences and associations. It is important to analyze symbols in the context of the dream and the dreamer's life.

5. Should I be concerned if I have recurring dreams?

Recurring dreams may indicate that there is an unresolved issue or emotion that needs to be addressed. It is important to pay attention to the recurring themes and symbols in your dreams and try to understand their meaning. Consulting a therapist or dream analyst can also provide helpful insights.
