[SOLVED] Post being combined if you post after yourself

Although this feature is convenient, it has to go. I can't post the rest of .emacs file since it is larger than 10000 characters. I tried posting 75% and then making another post with the rest but it keeps trying to combine the post which is a problem. When it comes to math, this feature is amazing. When it comes to coding, this feature is horrible.

If you wait 5 minutes between posts then this won't happen. What thread are you referring to?

I believe the merging of double posts is only within a certain small time limit. I would wait a few minutes in between posts.

edit: I thought it was 5 minutes, but wasn't sure.
