Anyway, such a forum might keep the hard-core types from getting tangled up with the amatures.

In general, Velikovsky's theories have been vigorously rejected or ignored by the academic community.
His ideas are not accepted by mainstream scientists and academics who categorize his work as pseudohistory and pseudoarchaeology.

The purpose of the Pop Physics Forum is to provide a platform for scientists and enthusiasts to discuss popular physics topics and share their knowledge and ideas.
The Pop Physics Forum will have a categorization system in place to organize postings based on various topics such as quantum mechanics, relativity, and cosmology. This will make it easier for users to find relevant discussions and contribute to them.
Anyone with an interest in physics and a desire to learn and share their knowledge is welcome to participate in the Pop Physics Forum. This includes scientists, students, and enthusiasts from all backgrounds.
The Pop Physics Forum is a platform for discussions and exchange of ideas, but it should not be considered a primary source of information. It is always important to verify information from credible sources.
Yes, we welcome suggestions for new categories or topics that you feel would benefit the community. You can reach out to the forum moderators with your suggestions, and they will consider adding them to the forum.
