# MathJax\overbar

I was just on a thread and I noted that MarkFL's \bar operator didn't look quite as nice as using the \overbar operator. It worked for me when I first tested it in the thread, but when I posted it the tex box gave me \overbarAB ie. $$\overbar{AB}$$

Since it worked for me the first time I can only assume that \overbar is part of the current LaTeX version. Does anyone know why it's doing this?

Thanks!

Link to thread so we can see it working properly and not properly?

Ah Jameson. You're too efficient. I just spotted the solution to my problem. I tested the LaTeX using "overline." I saw MarkFL's \bar command and I got \overbar stuck in my head and used that to answer the post.

Sorry for the confusion and thanks for the quick response.
