Ah, one of those "I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you" situations?

No, its just that I haven't dyno'd it yet. It has to be in the 750-800HP range.

It came with a standard GT500 engine... not stock for this car, and then me and my buddy worked a little magic on it. I put in a new rear axle, new brakes, hood, spoiler, wheels, NO2 kit, purge system, new tranny, supercharger, turbo... etc...
We had it clocked in at under 3 seconds 0-60.
Hopefully this one will last longer...:(

Very nice!

Did you go with the 9" rear?

You have both a supercharger and turbo? I've heard of either one or the other, but not both. I suppose in theory it can be done, but would be an engineering nightmare, I would think. But then, I'm a natural aspiration guy, so I have no experience with forced induction.

Well, kinda, ... I bought both. I only have the turbo on it right now. We are going to see which one gets the most out of it.
As far as axle goes, I forget the size... I think maybe a 9 or an 8.8... solid axle.
Just out of curiosity, does your Corvette have a solid or IRS?

The Z06 has IRS, but my Camaro has a solid read axle. I went with a 3.73:1 Moser 12-bolt rear.

I looked at a 2005 Corvette ZR1... a little out of my price range...

I don't think either the Z06 or ZR1 was made in '05. I want to say (for the C6) the Z06 is 2006-present and the ZR1 is 2009-present.

My mistake, I know it was a 2005 but for some reason I was thinking ZR1...

As long as your internals are forged...heck why not?

No, my Z06 is bone stock...I have considered contacting the good folks at Lingenfelter though.(Devil)

The turbo that I have now has a relatively short spool up time.

Yes, I understand the newer turbos have greatly reduced lag-times! Do you plan to track the car? If so, what is your goal E.T.?

Well, I suppose that I could track the car...
If we are talking 1/4 mile... high 8's low 9's...

Once you have dyno-tuned, you'll know what kind of times to expect.(Cool)

Are you into tuner, or more classic muscle stylings?

I'm more into the classic recipe of a rumbling V8, six on the floor and rear-wheel drive, but I have respect for anything that is fast and driven well.
